Playground rules for the protection and safety of all
- Children will not run around excessively outdoors.
- Children are not allowed to play in the wooded area surrounding the playground.
- Before school playground activities are strictly forbidden.
- After each lunch period, children will have their respective recesses either on the playground or in the playing field.
- Children will be respectful of others and their safety.
- Children will not jump from playground apparatus.
- Fighting and rough play will not be allowed on the playgrounds or fields at any time.
- Children must line up at the end of the recess period in a quiet and orderly fashion.
- Failure to conduct oneself in an appropriate manner will result in the loss of recess privileges.
- Children will remain in designated recess areas at all times. They will be under the supervision of the lunch aides. Parents are not allowed to supervise or visit their children during these recess periods.
- Children are not allowed to use hard balls or inappropriate or dangerous objects in this school. The Principal, Physical Education Teacher and lunch aides will deem what is appropriate for the children to use.
- Trash is to be placed in the appropriate containers.
- Children will be dismissed from the All-Purpose Room in an orderly fashion.
- Once children have been dismissed from the All-Purpose Room, they will not be allowed back to the cafeteria or into their classroom unless either a lunch aide or a classroom teacher supervises them.
